I have been working on the 7.x conversion of the quotes module currently maintained by NancyDru. I have been passing files for her to upload to CVS.

She asked why not apply for a cvs account and upload to HEAD myself, so that is what I am requesting. Due to time restraints I can co-maintain the module but would not consider it ethical to be the maintainer.

I have created the public request to be a co-maintainer with NancyDru's response. Your consideration and hopeful approval for this CVS account is appreciated. I believe I have followed your guidelines on this second attempt. Upon completion of the conversion, I plan to outline the procedures used in the conversion which might help in the transition from 6 to 7
