The module in question is in the same vein as encl_remote but adds CCK and FeedAPI support. The motivation is to allow capture of <enclosure> tag data in its proper format, and regenerate the <enclosure> tag when outputting a feed.

The immediate request is to join encl_remote as a co-maintainer to add this functionality. The encl_remote maintainer has agreed to let me co-maintain for this purpose (link above).

I wanted to avoid duplication.

I'm sure I'm going to write some other modules over time.
