Customizer module allows you to expose a list of CSS variables you have implemented in your theme to site administrators to customize. Once implemented, a link in the Toolbar labeled "Customize" appears on the front end of your site. When clicked, it opens the Settings Tray with the fields you've defined with their default values, and a color wheel that can be used to change them.
Currently only color values are supported, though more types are planned.
