1.) Title is misleading. There is already a D8 beta version available.
2.) To simply request a new version without bringing up solutions and without reporting how errors occur leads to the assumption this is a feature request, not a bug.
3.) Use the Drupal guidelines for posting bugs or supporting development for new Drupal core versions of contrib modules. There is good documentation in drupal.org about it.
