Let's site administrators to manage site help contents that guides users on its operations. The Custom Help module provides a new content entity type that store help contents to be displayed in the help area at configured paths as well as standalone content on its canonical URL.

Features

  • bundle enabled

    Help texts are grouped into custom help types. Each type defines a collection of help texts intended for a specific audience.

  • fieldable

    add and configure additional fields per custom help type. Make use of awesome Drupal editorial features like paragraphs or display suite. Remember that custom help pages are intented to be used in the admin context, so the admin theme is primary selected unless the 'View the administration theme permission' is not granted to the current user

  • inline / standalone view modes

    configure how the custom help texts are displayed on site. By default, the body text field with summary is available and only the summary is displayed inline along with a dynamically added "More" link that points to the full help text page

  • permissions per bundle

    edit and view permissions per bundle are available, enabling certain roles only to view a particular help content type

  • core help integrated

    module administrative links are under the help menu provided by the core Help module
