Hi,

probably a trivial question (answer being: no), but I was wondering whether you use code that is incompatible with version 4.7.x?

I have UIEforum and would like breadcrumbs to be visible for just the forum (now it seems to be everything or nothing) because otherwise there is no way to navigate up the forum. If I can modify your module to work for the older version, that could solve my problem... Mind you, I am no real programmer :}

Thank you!

I also think this module would help me a lot with a site that is using 4.7.x is there any way of getting a version to work? My problem with breadcrumbs is to do with using view arguments to show filtered listings and the way that integrates with the menu, which leads to duplicate breadcrumbs. It seems the menu module generates some breadcrumbs and then the view module adds on some more (some of which are identical). I tried taxonomy breadcrumb but it didn't really help. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi again,

through the forum I found a solution to my problems regarding the forum breadcrumbs. In the settings you can select whether to show breadcrumbs or not.

I also wanted the last forum item to NOT be shown (that would be the title of the current thread). This generated very long breadcrumbs and is kind of useless because you are already there.

I used the following code in my uieforum.module to push the last item of the breadcrumb array:

    if(uie_id('ThreadID') && uieforum_current_thread())
      $breadcrumbs[] = get_thread_link_text(uieforum_current_thread());

/** NEXT LINE ADDED BY HARRO TO PUSH THE LAST ITEM OUT OF THE breadcrumb ARRAY **/
      array_pop($breadcrumbs);

Still interested in the results of this thread though!

A 4.7 version will be much appreciated! I'm interested in this as well!

At your convenience, a 4.7 version can downloaded from http://drupal.org/node/168283

This is great!

The patch in #3 and the patch here (#5) seems to be slightly different. Which one should be used?

Thanks

I used the patch from #5. It failed at the last hunk. Manually patched that.
Works fine without token installed
If token is installed, and even if I'm not using any tokens, the node for which custom breadcrumbs is set is rendered as a white page, completely blank. If I disable the token module, then the node is displayed properly with the custom breadcrumbs

The other patch also seems to fail at hunk 8. Haven't tried that one yet.
