I have Drupal 7.32. I upgraded my core to 7.33, the latest install. When trying to edit a course lesson plan, I would be directed to a blank page that just states an error has occured. Log message states problem in includes/theme.inc and in include/common.inc. I reverted to a backup, so I no longer have a message in the logs to send, but I can reproduce error in a dev environment if needed.

This was bad news.

I have so far only applied the 7.33 patch on my Course planner install, so I didn't notice this one. (It seems to work fine with the patch.)

Sadly I cannot say when I will have time to work with this.

Now I too have experienced this bug.

There seems to be no problem when running PHP 5.6.2, but on 5.3.28. (Haven't tried all versions.)

I'll dig a bit deeper and see if I find something.

It seems this is a bug in References dialog: #2315905: Recoverable fatal error: Argument 3 passed to l() must be an array, string given with references_dialog

There is a RTBC patch available, and it solved the problem on my installation. As mentioned, another way around the problem would be to switch to PHP 5.6.

Closing this issue. Thanks for the report!
