Dr. Brandon,

I took the leap and installed the alpha for Contextual Annotation. As per my previous note to you I'm very excited about the context of annotation. If you are able to at least show the way on getting started, I'm willing try. In particular, I'm hoping that the annotations are (a) in the database [will be surprised if not] and (b) showing easily around the annotated text. I've begun to look at SMW+Halo and wonder if at some point the two platforms can be made to work together, to achieve a number of interesting objectives.

BACKGROUND OF CURRENT PROBLEM: Drupal Version 6.2; some of the modules need to be updated. CTools is right up to date. Installed Contextual Annotations in the usual way by clicking on the box.

PROBLEM NO. 1 --> Not sure what do do next. I could not find a single reference in any module or menu or permission to anything related to CA.

PROBLEM NO. 2 --> Fatal error: Call to undefined function ctools_get_plugins() in /home/personal/public_html/standupsales.com/sites/all/modules/contextual_annotation/contextual_annotation.module on line 9

I realize this is an Alpha. But I'm willing to provide a test platform. You seem to be involved actively now, so hopefully we could make some progress. FYI, my skill set is in sales, not programming, although I have had a fair amount of exposure to programming. If you say "make this change in this PHP file", I can do that. I won't be able to figure out what to do.

FYI, here are the two sites that I'd like to experiment with:

1) www.standupsales.com (the one I experimented with last night).
2) www.decisionmodels.org (the one to which I'd really like to add annotations).

Looking forward!

D6 version of this got left out to dry without any attention. I missed this not otherwise it would have been easy to fix.

Since this is not currently used I am going to remove the 6.x release and focus on moving to 7.x since we still require this functionality.

Sorry to have missed this.
