If you use Display Suite and have a node display enabled, the contextual links will not show.

I've not yet worked out why. But thought i should open an issue anyway.

There are only two changes between 1.0-rc1 and 1.0:

I suspect it is the first change that is causing this not to work with Display Suite. If Display Suite calls the node_preview function which displays a preview of a node, then the contextual links won't work. This is the intended functionality, so contextual links don't show up when saving node.

Do you know why Display Suite would be calling the node preview function?

No idea, one thing i found with rc1, is it needed a higher weight than nd for it to work when ND was active on a node.

Hope to dig into this some more in the new year.

(supporting other contrib modules is usually a feature request, right? Was browsing bug reports while considering whether to use this module)
