Overview
If you are looking to implement a "create group content" link that links to a node add form with the group audience field prepopulated and hidden for an improved user experience, then Contextual Administration OG is for you. The functionality is near-identical to the Automatic Node Reference on Node Create use case illustrated by EclipseGC except that it acts on the group audience field as opposed to the nodereference field.
