I create a context to show a block and a image in a region when a taxonomy term is asign to a node. this is strange the image appear but the block dont. The only diferent i see is the taxonomy have childs taxonomies. this is a bug?

Could you use the context devel to determine if the context is being activated correctly. If it is, then the issue lies with the block reaction.
