Problem/Motivation

I'm not sure if there is some reasoning for this I am missing, but I noticed that in addition to the standard status field for the config there is a disabled field which appears to serve the same function as status. The presence of both values is confusing and it seems like adhering to the convention of using the status field would be preferable.

Hi malcolm_p. Could you be so kind and explain a little bit more or correct me if I'm wrong. This happens when you do the configuration export/import?
I do not see the two fields as being the same as the status can be true and disabled can be false (as in this context is present but is disabled, but user can enable it). So disabled it's not serving the same function as status as I see it and if I'm understanding correctly.
