Context module is not highlighting the Active menu

We are using the fusion mix and match theme on our site and want to use the active-menu-trail style added to a menu item using the context module. But when we add the respective condition and reaction in context, it does not add the required style class. I have gone through the discussion at http://drupal.org/node/712122 but it did not help.

Has anyone faced or tried to solve this problem? Can you help me? We can even decide to change the code (e.g. in menu.inc) if that is what it takes, but of course that will not be preferable.
