Currently, all the child pages in a compound item are displayed in one potentially big thumbnail gallery. This is unwieldy for long documents. Provide option to display page thumbnails in compound item viewer as a scrollable div.

Fixed in commit d037978. @todo: use jQuery to get the current thumbnail's position and then use scrollLeft to show that thumbnail in the middle of the div, so it is in context.
