The commit here #1441998: Create User button does not appear on content profile nodes that don't have the machine name "profile" helps for converting individual profile nodes for sites with multiple content types but the batch operations will always fail due to this little check at the start of content_profile_create_user_op_all():


  if (count($types) > 1) {
    drupal_set_message(t('At this time, Content Profile Create User only supports sites that define only one Content Profile content type'), 'error');
    return FALSE;
  }

At some point it would be good to allow sites with multiple profiles types to utilize the batch functionality of CPCU.

Basically, all I did was remove the check that you reference. After reviewing the batche operation, I really can't remember why I put this check in there. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to test this module too easily right now. Let me know if you run into an issues.
