Tryng to update from 7.x-3.19 through "/admin/modules/update" , I get the message : "Downloading updates failed : commons-7.x-3.20-core.tar.gz does not contain any .info files". The update process is canceled.

Drupal Commons includes a number of number of patches to both Drupal core and contrib modules. I'd suggest waiting for a new release of Commons which includes the core update.

I get the missing .info file when trying to install editor modules to go with the wysiwyg module. I have tried a number of different editors, all same result.
