EntityMetadataWrapperException: Unknown data property og_group_ref. in EntityStructureWrapper->getPropertyInfo() Error appearing when try to go to the home page of commons [#2249323]

Hello, all in my site was normally until yesterday, but today I see this error when try to go to the homepage:

EntityMetadataWrapperException: Unknown data property og_group_ref. in EntityStructureWrapper->getPropertyInfo() (line 335 of /home/peaux7/www/abraincities/profiles/commons/modules/contrib/entity/includes/entity.wrapper.inc).

The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

The home page is the default that commons create for you. When I go to my articles and some other nodes there is not error, neither with user profiles, but all that has something to do with organic groups broke!...

Everything with organic groups is broken, I do not have idea why since I did not touch organic groups, that was a surprise for me...

Please help me in this!!

Sorry to hear you're having problems here. Has any configuration changed in your site? Are all of your Features in their default/non-overidden states?

Yea actually I never touched the organic groups module!

This is the unic modification I did before the error appeared
I have a question, Im using the quiz module for making a job applicants website, the quiz module has a table in the data base called quiz_node_results for store the results of quizzes takers, I needed to store an aditional field for the results, I entered to my phpmyadmin and created a new column in that table called job_id. Im populating that column in the database with a custom module, that's all I did...

I had to back up my website and now the issue seems to be solved but really need to know the possible causes of this problem...

the way Im adding the column to the data base for the quiz module table is the correct?, does it have something to do with this issue? (I do not think so, due to the error seems to be with organic groups and I did not touched it)
