Where are we with a 3.3 release? It is really difficult and confusing to stay up-to-date. (sorry for the bad bug reports yesterday...)
I realize there are a few bugs that require fixes before a release. There are the interface communication issues which are confusing. However, the main bug I am aware is saving a group as anyone can join. Is work being done on that or is ezra-g's patch the solution? ( https://drupal.org/node/2019137#comment-7604987 )(which I have not applied yet)
I am curious: Why don't you committers just commit/push instead of providing patches? Working mostly alone or with one other, I am not used to such a slow pace.
(still waiting for the ability to alter quicktabs)
On the next release, there needs to be a focus on customization. There are too many assumptions (hard code) taken in Commons for general usability. Do you agree?

a1mpreza commentedI too am looking for an update on the ETA for 3.3 release.
The last update we had was for early June and now we are in early July.
Still no sign of the 3.3 release and no news either.
Could somone kindly update us please?

ezra-g commentedWe're currently targeting end of July.
@RobKoberg, let's discuss customization/patches in the specific issues.

a1mpreza commentedEarly August now ;-)
Do we have a new ETA for the 3.3 release yet? :-)

moheshmohan commentedYes even the core updated today, when can we expect 3.3?

japerryCore updated last week, and we've integrated it into our release candidates:

Your best bet to getting an ETA is watching the activity of the Commons 3.3 Radar . When the criticals are down to 0, its pretty good chance a release will be coming soon ;-)
