Hello!

I have been setting up a site and have it close to being done. So far I have been in test mode and using the fake credit card info from the square docs. My question is... How do transactions look when in live mode? will the dashboard on square show the items being purchased or is this module just used as a credit card processor right now where only the amount of money being added shows in the square dashboard?

I did some testing with live creds and it looked like a normal transaction on both ends to me.

I tested it also and it shows up as an online transaction but doesnt have the product title or anything about what the customer bought.

We do not send the line item data with the request, which I believe we can.

There was this approach in the 8.x branch #2912445: Add purchase details to transaction notes. We need to review the API and what we can do: send each order item or have to make a giant note.
