This module integrates with Search API. It checks if a searched value directly matches a product SKU. From there, it checks to see how many nodes reference that product, and if only a single node references the product, it takes the user direct to that product instead of taking them to the search results page.
Currently, this module latches onto selected search indexes that are searched by the search API. It checks if the search index has been marked for SKU forwarding in this module, and proceeds if so. At that point it checks for a singular node SKU match on the selected nodes with the field values entered in the admin interface.
It sounds complex... but for the user it should be simple, especially CK1.x users. Just go in, select the search index, select the relevant nodes, and leave the field machine name and column alone. They will work.
