Problem/Motivation

Summary I’ve filed a bug against the Canvas module about repeated Undefined array key "default_formatter" in Drupal\layout_builder\Plugin\Block\FieldBlock->defaultConfiguration() warnings when enabling Canvas 1.0.0 on a fresh Commerce Kickstart site on Drupal 11.

I’m opening this issue here just to make sure Commerce Kickstart maintainers are aware, since the problem is 100% reproducible on a stock Kickstart install with the default recipes and Layout Builder configuration.

As I mention in the linked Canvas bug, if you uninstall Layout Builder Expose All Field Blocks (Deprecated), the command line warnings do not appear anymore after rebuilding cache.

I thought it would be helpful to file a minimal cross‑reference here.
