This includes ensuring the appropriate product fields show (i.e. images but not brand) and that the Add to Cart form uses the proper widgets / does not permit unit price overriding. It just appears like essential config was never exported along with the definition of this product type.

The configuration has been updated in Commerce Kickstart License / Commerce Kickstart Media Product submodules. Tested, works great!
