It does not like the autogenerated database password: {X6!0c%oE}p^

PDOException: SQLSTATE[IMSSP]: An unescaped right brace (}) was found in either the user name or password. All right braces must be escaped with another right brace (}}). in db_table_exists()

Commerce Kickstart is not compatible with SQL Server, you need MySQL.

We have an open feature request about this where you can help with patches: #1792824: SqlServer compatibility.
