When a customer selects "Check" as their payment method in checkout, the payment is added to the order with a status of "This order is waiting for the cheque to be cashed." However, the only links available for the payment are "View" and "Delete." There is no way to mark the check as "cashed", and therefore the order still has a balance.

The only way around it is to add a new check payment manually and delete the old one.

This is already fixed in dev from #1420856: Undefined Property: $roles Notice on Order Payment screen..

Seems important enough to warrant a new release.
