I just get I get a counter at the bottom of the colorbox window. You can see in the capture I uploaded.
Then, of course I can navigate with the arrows.

If I'm not wrong I should add rel="my-nodes" to the links to group them in a colorbox gallery.

But my link doesn't contain the "rel" property. Here the code for the link:

How can I remove this?

<a href="en/ecommerce?width=700&amp;height=450" class="colorbox-node init-colorbox-node-processed-processed cboxElement">Sell it</a>

Do you have a rel inside the content of the modal?
That shouldn't show up unless you have a rel and from 60 of 94, I suspect something going on around that just gotta figure out why so I can determine if its a bug.

I don't fully understand what you mean by:

Do you have a rel inside the content of the modal?

As far as I know the rel goes in the link which fires up the modal and not inside the modal itself.

I'm having the same issue, there is no relationship associated with my link. Here is the source for mine

<a class="colorbox-node init-colorbox-node-processed-processed cboxElement" href="/link-to-node?width=600&amp;height=600">Light box test</a>

Try updating jQuery to version 1.7+ and the problem should be solved.
Module: jQuery Update.
