will it be possible to add a link to un-bookmark a bookmarked content?

i've noticed that the link to bookmark the node exists even after adding it to the list. clicking on it again does nothing really.

Correct. To avoid the overhead of an additional request to the database each time a node is displayed, I decided not to test if a node had already been bookmarked.

I might leave it up to the administrator of the site to decide if he/her wants to implement that feature (via the settings). In the next release maybe.

Other than that, you can remove a link from the page listing all the bookmarks.
