Features
The CKEditor 5 Link Popup module enhances the link insertion experience in CKEditor 5. It allows content authors to easily apply predefined styles and classes to internal links through a modal window. This feature simplifies adding links with specific styles like modal popups or AJAX-enabled links directly within the editor, improving the content editing workflow. Users can define these link styles via configuration and apply them with a single click, saving time compared to manually editing link attributes. Note: This module currently works only for internal links.
Post-Installation
Once installed, the module integrates with CKEditor 5. Users can configure link styles in the "Text formats and editors" configuration page. After enabling the module, simply go to Configuration > Content authoring > Text formats and editors, select a text format, and add predefined link styles under the "Link Popup Styles" section. These styles can be used to apply predefined attributes like modal dialogs and AJAX functionality to links directly in the editor.
Additional Requirements
This module requires CKEditor 5 to be installed and properly configured on your Drupal site. It also depends on the CKEditor 5 Link plugin being enabled as part of the CKEditor configuration.
