Hi, I would like to be able to use the same upload method than in FCK, I don't know if it used the core upload module. In any case in the README says:

There are three ways of uploading files: By using commercial file browser like CKFinder (http://ckfinder.com),
by using modules like IMCE, WebFM, Image Browser or by using the core upload module.

But there are only the instructions for CKFinder and in the profiles settings page it is the only option though it's not installed. How can I configure it to use de core upload module?

Thank you!

Here's how to use the core upload module:

In your Drupal site go to:
Administer->Site Building->Modules

Under "Core - optional" there will be a module called "Upload". Tick the box next to it and click "Save configuration".

Now if you click "create content" and select "page" there should be an option down the bottom saying "File attachments". Expand this and upload a file.

Cheers,
Robin.

Ahh ok sorry, I thought it was integrated with the editor...

I change the question then: in the FCK there was two was of uploading files: integrated filemanager and IMCE. The integrated filemanager in FCK corresponds to the CKFinder in CKEditor?

Thank you very much

Ok, I've seen that yes, it is the same. So with CKEditor we are going backwards as we don't have integrated filemanager, as you have to pay for CKFinder.

thank you anyway

If you don't mind the "ÿou are using this for free" reminder, ckfinder works fine to upload your files from ckeditor.
