I have set the number of rows for Body field to 50 using Structure->Content types->Story->Manage fields
When editing a Story, the Body field has 50 rows when I choose plain text format, but has 15 rows when I choose CKEditor.

How to set the default Body field rows number to 50 for CKEditor?

Hi,
please check #1154730: CKEditor not following body rows setting Drupal 7.
In this moment you can set config.height = 400; in Custom javascript configuration of "Advanced options" tab in CKEditor profile configuration.

Sorry for re-activating this thread. I was originally looking for a fix to the height issue using CKEditor via the Wysiwyg module which is what some people in the other thread are also referring to. Anyway, the solution ended up being in this thread: #1012050: default display height of CKEditor.
