I was wondering if it would be possible to have an option that filters URLS in posts into clickable links? (eg; www.google.com being clickable and not just text)

not doing work on 5.x anymore.

the 6.x-2 branch use the input filter defined for the chat node, so you can get this by setting up a filter for it and using that filter for the chat node.
