We have quite a number of node-references in our client's project. So the last time I was configuring CER the list was already quite long. Now it vanished completely.

(don't mind the update notice - it's only about display suite). Can anyone help us out?

Please try the 2.x version of the module. 7.x-1.x is deprecated. There was a large re-write of the module. Everything should migrate just fine.
