Same signup node type for multiple event types

It'd be nice if there was a way to specify the node type for the signup.

You have a node type of Events that you have all the CCK Signup fields set for.
Now you have to go create a Signup node, but if you have different signup fields for different events you currently have to create an "Events - type 1", "Events - type 2", etc...

If you could on the creation of an Events node have a CCK Signup field that let you specify the Signup Node Type then you'd only ever need the 1 Events node type.
