Whenever I upload CCK to the /sites/all/modules/ directory the site breaks and I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function content_type_update() in /home/volunte1/public_html/drupal/sites/all/modules/cck/content.module on line 1510

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
