CCK Blocks and Node Relationships

When I create a backreference field using the Node Relationships module and then output this field in a block using cck blocks, I receive the following error:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /xxx/sites/all/modules/cck/content.module on line 1782.

Changing my error reporting settings to keep errors off the screen hides the issue, but still get the errors in my log.

In my display fields settings, I have the backreference field hidden for both full nodes and teasers and I also have it excluded for both.

Im not sure if this is something easy to fix... also, if this should be in the node relationships issue queue I apologize in advance, I always seem to get in trouble for posting issues in the wrong place :P
