I really am excited about this module... HOWEVER, after install ALL of my teasers, CCK or otherwise, in the 'links' section, along with "add a comment," etc, now have an extra link, that says "My Footprint."

I have looked in the individual settings>>>>content types, as well as all of the carbon module settings to disable this, but cannot seem to get rid of this. PLEASE help, tell me how to get rid of these links... otherwise thanks for a great module.

Yes that's a sloppy piece of code apologies. carbon.module has been fixed in version 1.9.

Title: Why does "My Footprint" show up in teasers? » Thanks and a question

Thanks so much, that was a really quick response! I am trying to test for a production site, so the sooner it gets committed the better! Is there any way to obtain a fixed release, or how long does it typically take for the changes to be committed? Again, great work.

One other unrelated suggestion I should have mentioned is that I thought some kind of feedback or layman's summary of the results beyond the overall carbon output and the accompanying table would be nice. Even something simple like recommendations to curb carbon to less than 2500 would be great. An example is one of the carbon footprint websites tells you "how many earths" you would need to support your lifestyle! It might be cool to allow this to change over time, or show comparisons (maybe this already does that, and I haven't gotten there yet!)

Thanks

Hi,

I too am very excited about this module - I'm working on a climate change website and I can see this being really useful. I'll have more comments and suggestions in another post elsewhere, but I too would like to get the latest version so as to remove the "my footprint" link.

Thanks for your great work on this!

That bug had been fixed in HEAD in CVS as above, However I have just created a 0.5 release which just has two or three minor bug fixes in it.

Hi John,

Thanks, I'll download the new version now . Another bug that you may or may not be aware of is that it seems that when the Carbon Footprint module is enabled, you are unable to edit your profile or anyuser's profile. The error given is "array_shift() [function.array-shift]: The argument should be an array in /home/5717/domains/xxx/html/includes/form.inc on line 487."

I'll let you know if I still get it with the new release.

That's this bug http://drupal.org/node/108631 and should have been fixed in 0.5.
