I am trying to use authcache in conjunction with Cache Router. authecache installed fine. I followed the instructions for cache router and got:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function apc_fetch() in /home/wcsoneor/public_html/royalnotes/modules/cacherouter/engines/apc.php on line 34
Going to remove it for now, but I really need caching to work effectively. I am on hostmonster server.

andy inman commentedI doubt if this is a bug in Cache Router - more likely because APC is not installed or not enabled on the server - that would normally be the case in shared hosting environments (otherwise it would be a big security issue.) Try using the file based caching - IME it's just as fast as APC, because the files end up cached in system memory (assuming that the server has sufficient memory allocated to file caching.)
Some info here on how to find out if APC is running: http://drupal.org/node/360459
