Thanks for this great module as it nears completion.

One question: Is cacherouter able to cache (compressed) html of full pages (for anonymous users) for even better speed / smaller server load? If not, is it planned?

Can't you just use boost?

A good point, Miraploy. I guess you are right - boost is developed for that purpose. However, it would make a lot of sense for cacherouter to offer full anonymous page caching as a part of its suite, perhaps relying on boost in some way. There might possibly be issues about cache clearing at wrong / unpredictable times if they are done by two modules, and also, it is faster (and it is speed we talk about with caches) to use just one module instead of two. But it's of course not much of a problem either :-) I am changing this to a minor feature request.

This already happens by default in Drupal, and we store those in cache_page. Drupal still makes a couple db requests, but it is far less than a full page load.

Not quite like boost, but from what I understand, boost and cacherouter play nice together ;)

Another reason might be getting cache router into core for Drupal 8 or at-least its API. merging with boost makes this module a complete caching solution and its API a solid one that supports all kind of caching backends.
I think it will have more chance of getting into the core this way.
