Support upload button with gif animation

HI!
noticed that the upload buttons break during upload/delete actions due to the overlapping of the throbber animated gif (see attachment).
I have tried to come out with an alternate animation but wasn't able to produce a decent one :(
Also, I am not sure which CSS and/or JS need to be overridden...

It would be great to add graphics and code to the module in order to support the upload buttons.
