Interesting..

I have tried beautytips addons /plugins on several sites. I had too many issues with BT, and it hasn't been updated since 2009 as I best recall.

Nevertheless, I appreciate that someone has confidence to build a module for it. Context sensitive help module is really needed for use on drupal sites, and that is effectively what this is. Context sensitive help would really help on sites where non-admin users are adding content to your sites.

Regarding BT - right now in development another module like this, that will be flexible on integration with other tooltips module, not only beautytips.

About context - can you please do more clarification, because I'm not fully understand your idea.

Thanks.

When you mouse over an entry box or input tool item a little window or bubble pops up, which has help information related to that item. This would be similar to beauty tips. This way you don't need to explain or make lengthy documents to teach users about each entry box. This is especially helpful for users of the site and site maintainers. The site maintainers can carefully complete the little popups for users to create content on their sites, or filling in forms. This is also a great help for admin maintainers, because they become very aware of information users need to fill the input items.

It would be important to be able to create the popup input tool items as you go. This way you can progress through the site pages and create the little help box popups as you go. The user would mouse over-hover and the popup would display for the input items. The input items could be radio click, scroll and click lists, check boxes, individual entry boxes, etc.

Having a popup over a fully calculated or conclusion field would be helpful as well, but to start it probably won't be necessary.

This way I can pass off as many maintenance duties as possible. Site owners like for me to concentrate only on security and updates, which they aren't capable to do. I don't allow any site owners or maintenance admins into cpanel. This is the only way I preserve capable sites.

Currently, I usually create screen captures and sequentially work through them with documentation as I go. The screen captures are not too difficult to do, but it does take alot of time. I have to do it for each site, because the admin maintainers relate to the theme and the way inputs are arranged.

This would be a very valuable tool. I hope you can pull it together.
