joetsuihk commentedcheck the created files for the boost text first.
check if you can access the created files directly via URL
check your .htaccess

Toxid commentedThanks for replying!
The boost text in the footer appears in the created files. I can access them if I write the full path. I'm not very familiar with .htaccess, what am I supposed to look for in it? I've inserted the boost rules, of course.

Did you have to do anything to get clean urls to work or did they work right away from the moment you installed Drupal on the server?
Toxid commentedI can't remember having any problems with clean urls, they worked from beginning. I recently started from scratch, using pressflow. I installed boost on it and it works perfectly. Same settings as far as I can see. The only difference I can think of that can interfere is authcache. I'll investigate further...

c-logemannMaybe there was also a problem with user cookie or something other missing in server configuration (.haccess). But just the most important technical fact: The boost module never serves any static content. It just create html files which are served by the webserver. This is the reason why it's so important to learn a little bit about how rewrite rules are working on the server.
I will now close this individual support request.
