Move Login & Navigation to one page

I have created Login a page and i want to move the Login and Navigation block to the login page and i have tried so so many times

1. I created the login page

2. I then went to the block section and went into user and navigation configuration sections and then clicked on the show in selected page and then typed in the selected page - Login

3. Nothing happens

Does anyone know or have the time to help me please!
