Currently, when this module is installed and I visit a URL such as /config/content/formats/manage/basic_html, I see these notices:

    Notice: Undefined index: footnotes_collapse in Drupal\bibcite_footnotes\Plugin\Filter\ReferenceFootnotesFilter->settingsForm() (line 70 of modules/contrib/bibcite_footnotes/src/Plugin/Filter/ReferenceFootnotesFilter.php).
    Notice: Undefined index: reference_dont_show_backlink_text in Drupal\bibcite_footnotes\Plugin\Filter\ReferenceFootnotesFilter->settingsForm() (line 87 of modules/contrib/bibcite_footnotes/src/Plugin/Filter/ReferenceFootnotesFilter.php).
    Notice: Undefined index: works_cited_sort_by in Drupal\bibcite_footnotes\Plugin\Filter\ReferenceFootnotesFilter->settingsForm() (line 96 of modules/contrib/bibcite_footnotes/src/Plugin/Filter/ReferenceFootnotesFilter.php).

These are appearing because ReferenceFootnotesFilter is missing those default settings.
