Overview
This simple module extends Drupal's default field formatter for entity reference fields in order to make it more flexible by introducing a new field formatter plugin.
It provides some more configuration options which might come in handy in certain use cases. The configuration options are shown in the screenshot and described below.
Formatter Options
- Show only the first referenced entity in the field
- Show only the last referenced entity in the field
- Advanced options that can, for example, be used to:
- Display only the second referenced entity
- Display only the 2nd, 3rd and 4th entity
- Display the first 3 entities
- Display the last 2 referenced entities
- Display the 2nd last referenced entity
- etc.
