Please consider putting the Footer message in a div tag and also moving it below the other "3 footer regions". The div tag is to provide more control over the formatting. Since Drupal suggests the Footer message is "useful for adding a copyright notice to your pages" and copyright notices typically go at the very bottom of a website, below the other 3 footer regions may be a better location.

Side note: Great theme! Exactly what I was looking for.

ok, thanks for the feedback.
it will be fixed in the next release (creation of a new region for remplacing the actual "footer message" area, and move footer message feature at the very bottom of the page..)
