MEETING NOTES (4/27

tl;dr General Notes

• Reviewed Workflows for Registration of Individuals from Mel.
• Workflow for Non-Individuals from Luke are not yet in presentable form.
• Discussed concept of adding User Dashboard, a hub for Post-Registration action items/reminders.
• Discussed concept of adding CTAs for 1) Incomplete Registrations and 2) adding Individual Sponsorships during Checkout Process.
• UX Verbiage Note: Even though we are leveraging Commerce, we want to move away from using the term "Cart", and refer to everything as a "Registration".

Individuals Workflows by Mel

• Reviewed drafts of proposed Workflows, available in Google Drive (dotted lines are Automated Processes).
• Sean thinks these make a lot of sense.
• He also thinks that Commerce also makes a lot of sense, but still needs to evaluate some things in Commerce...
• In the Future: Add CTA w/ Suggestion to add Individual Sponsorship when Checking Out if User != Already Individual Sponsorship.

Checkout Process and CTAs

• In addition to above Individual Sponsorship CTA at Checkout, add a CTA that prompts users they have an Incomplete Registration if they have Item in Cart and not checked out.
• Verbiage and UI/UX for this is TBD, but maybe something like "Complete Your Registration".
• Potential idea for Cart Icon is that it appears near Social Media Icons/somewhere in Top Left and w/ an off-color that stands out (e.g.: Brigh Green), but only when there is Something in Cart.
• Potential idea for CTA is a Modal or Small Overlay Window w/ similar visibility rules to the above, and appears when Something in Cart + Not Currently in Checkout.

Dashboard

• Idea here is that users are redirected here after log in, and it is a hub for Post-Registration action items/reminders.
• Should include sections that are CTAs that: 1) ask for Individual Sponsorship (if User != Already Sponsored), 2) Links to sign up for Training, Summit, 3) Submit a Session, 4) in the future, go to Schedule/Add to My Schedule, 5) maybe Display Trainings and Summits they registered for?

Misc./Asynchronous Updates:

• Sean has disabled all Old Contact Form Submissions for 2017-2019
• AmyJune says Spam Issue is better. Thanks, Sean!

Current Action Items

• @AmyJune (volkswagenchick she/her) to continue to let us know when Content should be revisited.
• @mmiller: Create Dashboard UI Mockup.
• @sean.dietrich: Review what is possible via Stock D8 Commerce because D8 Rules sucks.
• @cellear: Complete Workflows for Non-Individuals (see 4/20 Meeting Notes), think about prospectives Dashboard CTAs, and where they would enter into Non-Individuals Workflows.
• Far Future Action Items
• UI/UX for Checkout (e.g.: Cart Icon, "Complete Your Registration" CTA, "Add Individual Sponsorship" CTA, etc.
• We need to archive some of the older sites as Flat HTML Sites; unsure where to host.
