README refers to a third party site to obtain BadBehavior 1.21. However, that site instructs the user to download version 1.24 and does not seem to allow access to 1.21.
Using 1.24 and correctly following the instructions (unzip 1.24, copy module file to bb folder) does not show the bad behavior module in Modules.
[sorry if this is a duplicate, or a bad post in some other way .. I did a search, found nothing, just like when I made my other bad posts]

jasmine commentedI have a non upgraded set of files used under drupal 4.6, attacched, but not shure they will work ... I'm trying it right now ...
OK, something is going wrong, after install I had to move all the files in the directory /modules/bad-behavior to the dir /modules, but still get eror in admin->settings->baf behavior:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_access() in /web/htdocs/www.mysite.com/home/modules/badbehavior.module on line 133
I'll study it and let you now ... are other systems available for knowing if someone is trying to spam trough a spam bot?
Thanks
Jasmine
PS: my readme file does not content any information to the third party

jasmine commentedok, I've tested on my site, looks to work fine, just give me the time to check deeper (the logs given by bad behavior).
Download bad-behavior from:
http://www.homelandstupidity.us/software/bad-behavior/bad-behavior-downl...
look that you should download version 1.2.4 as stated in the notice:
Notice: The Drupal module maintainer has not updated his module for Bad Behavior 2 yet. Please use 1.2.4 until further notice. And send him a ten quid note asking if he’ll please update it. Thanks!
then downolad the bad badbehavior.module and upload it to your /module/bad-behavior/ directory.
enable the module, give to it the right permissions (admin/access) and its done, at least for me it's working now!
let me know, otherwise I think this issue must be closed.
