Presently the module requires a connection to live data in order to actually setup and deploy energy dashboards. This makes it hard for users to test out the module quickly to see if its something they want to invest additional time to integrate into their sites.

So, it would be good to build out a "demo" feature into the module which would include a default data set so that the point data, dials, graphs or charts could be actually activated and viewed using the demo data content.

A demo of this module is now available at www.bg-drupal.org/demo .

The demo feature will be helpful to get familiar with how to work with the module to create feature rich energy dashboards. Once the base module is approved as a full project, it will then be incorporated back in along with some other planned features.
