Create node from a referenced node type

Hello

I have problems in understanding this module. What I want to do:
I have two nodetypes "Gallery" and "Image". The node Image is referenced (with node reference) to the node Gallery. So when the user creates a Gallery there is an link to add an Image. So is it possible with this module to create a default image to the gallery depend on the referenced Image node?
