Automated tests do not seem to run any more. Last time they passed was April 9th 2016, now 4 of them fail. No changes have been committed in the meantime.

It looks like the culprit are patches committed to 7.x branch in core:

The problem is that those patches are not likely released anytime soon, e.g. #2598382: [policy] Adopt a 6-month feature release schedule for Drupal 7 (similar to Drupal 8) and use pseudo-semantic versioning faces some opposition of core contributors.
