Would it be difficult to process the non-scheduled audio files with metadata and file renames using the "Default title for unscheduled audio?"

not sure i understand exactly what you're asking. you'd like to be able to provide more metadata to the unschedule audio added to the archive? so the files would be renamed to be more than a timestamp and the artist and title would be set?

I have two objectives. Yes, I would like to be able to change the name of the file following what is done with the scheduled files. This will be a little more usable at the file level. Also, I would like to be able to put some info into the metadata of every file produced.

file renaming is easy. i've committed that. i guess i'd like more information on other default metadata... artist? genre?

Okay, well the station module specific part of this is fixed. What's left is audio module related.

I think it'd be very handy for the admin to specify default values for each field. These would be put into the tags and the values loaded from the ID3 tags would overwrite them. Or, maybe it'd be better if the admin could specify the field values to be used for all values of that field... like on a copyright field... Thoughts?
